Abstract

The understanding of education is not built only on one theory of knowledge. Each individual has a concept or idea of education obtained from various educational theories that exist, especially in philosophy of education. Usually, the philosophy of Christian education is modern philosophy-oriented that has been basically accepted as a philosophical guidance within the framework of Christian education. Each school's educational philosophy has certain particular approach which is learner’s behavior goal-oriented. The Design of Christian Education Philosophy With Pentacostal-EvangelicalismCharacterizedwas based on Bible as a source of Christian faith. The Bible became a source of Christian education philosophical thought.Theologically, the Pentecostal-Evangelicalism concept rests on faith of Lord Jesus Christ and the work of Holy Spirit as the expression of God's glory historically. Philosophically, educational thought was based on philosopical determination, comprising metaphysic, epistemology and axiology. Design of Christian Education Philosophy With Pentacostal-Evangelicalism Characterized is returning a base of thinking to the revelation of Lord Jesus Christ, an incarnated God. He is the summum bonum. We can be frutiful abundantly within Jesus, so that God will be glorified.
